- 2 chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp paprika divided
- 2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp sea salt
- 1/2 lemon juiced
Parmesan Topping
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup parmesan grated
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter melted
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
Preheat the oven to 400F and prepare a casserole dish.
In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp of paprika, onion, garlic powder, black pepper, and sea salt.
Cut the chicken breasts in half horizontally and season them with the spice mixture. Then, place them on a baking dish and squeeze the lemon juice all over them.
In another bowl, combine 2 tsp of paprika with Italian seasoning, parmesan, garlic, olive oil, butter, and fresh parsley.
Cover the chicken with the mixture.
Bake the chicken in the oven for 17-20 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked.
Garnish with some extra chopped parsley before serving.
